STEM League Developer Program

STEM League Developer Program is a 4-week virtual summer coding program hosted from July 5 to July 30, 2021 for 6th-12th grade students to dive into Web Development and Data Programming. Students will develop technical coding skills to build their own websites and create data visualizations, and apply creativity in interactive coding tournaments. This program is fully organized and run by UW CSE undergraduate students at the University of Washington.

Exploration

Students will get the opportunity to explore topics including UX Design, Data Science, and Career Development.

Mentorship

Developers will be matched to a Mentor who will support them throughout the program and engage in the curriculum.

Community

We value collaboration and creativity and support our students in exploring Computer Science and STEM.

Developers Around the World

In Summer 2020, 50% of our 323 students came from Washington State, where STEM League was founded. Our student community encompassed diverse talent with 85% of our students coming from minority backgrounds.

Help transform the Future
of STEM Education

Our Developer alumni have built a strong network of support and continue to explore Computer Science and STEM careers beyond the Developer Program. Help us expand our mission to "Educate and Inspire every student to Pursue STEM" and bring Developer Program to more students in the future.
